THE GOLDEN ACORN

DESCRIPTION:

Seth the Squirrel has tasked himself to conquer the one and only magical tree in the forest. His first steps into the aura of the tree take away his ability to climb, he is left with his running, jumping, and his signature gliding. As he makes his way up the tree, more challenges begin to arise. Seth will encounter many animals taking up their claim to the tree, trying to stop him from accomplishing his goal. The tree itself will cause problems on his journey. Storms, lightning, and blizzards will form from nothing, and the wind itself will bend to the trees will. 

The entire journey is a test of Seth’s ability to use his maneuvers and skills. Every jump will count, one misstep will be his downfall. Get to the acorn with your skills, or fall.

IN GAME VIEW

Intro Level

An autumn forest with a variety of trees, some miniature cliffs, a river, and an open clearing surrounded by fog with an enormous Magic Tree at its center.


Mushroom Level

This level takes place inside the tree. The walls and tunnels are of cave-like structure, and it is mostly dark everywhere except glowing rocks and mushrooms. The caverns are taken over by these many mushrooms, such as the bouncy and disappearing ones. Most of the level is a bottomless pit; almost all of the walkable terrains are mushrooms.


Canyon Level

This level takes place inside the tree. The level has 3 parts. The first is a tunnel. The environment will be dark and cave-like. The second is a chasm covered in roots. The environment is dim with little lighting, and it is decorated with purple vines, spider webs, and almost completely clear water. The third is a river running through a canyon system. Some paths lead you toward the end, while others lead to waterfalls and death. This area has the same lighting and decor as the previous one.
